What does restaurant cleaning in Surrey include?

A restaurant is inspected by customers every night and by Fraser Health on its own schedule. GTB Pro Cleaning handles the cleaning your own team cannot get to after a long service: dining rooms, washrooms, entrances and the hard floors front and back, done after close or before opening.

Front of house sets the impression. We clean entrance glass and mats, tables, chair legs and bases, booth sides, service stations, ledges, vents and light fittings, then sweep and mop the dining floor with attention to the edges and corners where crumbs and grease collect.

Washrooms are where complaints and reviews start. Fixtures, tiles, mirrors, partitions, floor drains and high-touch surfaces are cleaned and disinfected every visit, and soap and paper are restocked. Partitions and lower wall surfaces can be included through our washroom partition and wall cleaning.

Back of house, we focus on floors and surrounds: degreasing quarry tile, scrubbing under and behind equipment where access allows, cleaning walk-in exteriors, and keeping drains and corners clear. Heavier floor restoration is handled with commercial floor scrubbing, and greasy exterior areas with concrete degreasing.

One thing we do not do: kitchen exhaust hood and duct cleaning. That is specialist certified work under NFPA 96, and your insurer will want it done by a certified contractor. We clean around the equipment and keep the rest of the site to standard.

  • Dining room floors swept, mopped and edged
  • Tables, chair bases, booths and service stations wiped
  • Entrance glass, doors, mats and patio approaches cleaned
  • Washrooms cleaned, disinfected and restocked
  • Back-of-house quarry tile degreased and scrubbed
  • Walk-in exteriors, shelving fronts and equipment surrounds cleaned
  • Floor drains, corners and wall bases kept clear
  • Waste and recycling removed to your bin area

How it works

Starting service is simple

  1. Free site walkthrough

Tell us about your facility. We visit, confirm the scope and send a written quote.

Nightly, weekend or day porter schedules built around your operating hours.

  3. Inspected & reported

Supervisor inspections, daily logs and corrective action within 48 hours.

Cleaning that works around service

Restaurants cannot pause for cleaning, so we work after close or before opening, with a written scope that says exactly which tasks are ours and which stay with your kitchen team. That split is agreed at the walkthrough, and it prevents the usual arguments about who was supposed to clean what.

Multi-site operators get consistency: the same scope, the same checklist and the same supervisor across every location, with daily logs and 48-hour corrective action when something is missed.

Crews are uniformed, bonded and WHMIS-trained, we carry $5,000,000 commercial general liability coverage, and our WorkSafeBC account is active. Certificates go out with your quote, which landlords and franchisors usually ask for.

FAQ

Restaurant cleaning FAQs

Do you clean kitchen exhaust hoods?

No. Hood, duct and rooftop exhaust cleaning is certified specialist work and should be done by a contractor certified for it, which your insurer will usually require. We clean floors, surrounds, walk-in exteriors and the rest of the restaurant, and we can work alongside your hood contractor’s schedule.

When do you clean a restaurant?

Usually after close or early in the morning before opening. We agree the window at the walkthrough, along with alarm and key procedures, so our crew can work without staff having to stay behind.

Can you degrease kitchen floors?

Yes. Quarry tile and sealed concrete are degreased and scrubbed, including grout lines, drains and the edges around equipment where access allows. How often depends on the volume of cooking, and we recommend a frequency at the walkthrough.

Do you clean patios and outdoor seating?

Yes. Patios, walkways and entrance concrete can be washed on a schedule or as a seasonal reset, using our commercial pressure washing service. Spring and early summer are the usual times, before patio season starts.

Can you clean several restaurant locations?

Yes. Multi-site operators get one contract, one scope and one supervisor across locations, with per-site checklists and logs so each restaurant can be reviewed separately while the standard stays the same.
