Do you clean schools after classes end?
Yes. Most school cleaning happens in the late afternoon and evening, after students leave and activities wrap up. We coordinate with your custodial staff and principals so classrooms, washrooms and hallways are ready before the first bell the next morning. Daytime washroom checks can be added for busy schools.
What happens during a summer deep clean?
Summer is when empty classrooms can be cleaned top to bottom. A typical scope includes furniture moving, wall and door washing, high dusting, washroom deep cleaning, carpet extraction and floor stripping and waxing, scheduled to finish before staff return. Winter and spring breaks suit smaller projects.
Can you refinish classroom and hallway floors?
Yes. We strip, wax and burnish resilient classroom and hallway floors during breaks, when rooms can be closed long enough for finishes to cure. Gym floors are cleaned to suit their surface, and floor stripping and waxing can be quoted as a separate project.
Are your school cleaners insured and trained?
Yes. GTB Pro Cleaning carries $5,000,000 commercial general liability insurance, is bonded and has active WorkSafeBC coverage. Our staff are uniformed and WHMIS-trained, and we can provide a certificate of insurance and WorkSafeBC clearance letter for your district or institution.
Do you clean colleges and universities?
Yes. We clean lecture halls, classrooms, libraries, study areas, administration offices and washrooms on college, university and training centre campuses. Multi-building campuses get a scope and daily log for each building, with one point of contact for your facilities department.
Can you clean after evening events and rentals?
Yes. Concerts, sports, parent nights and community rentals leave gyms, washrooms and lobbies needing attention before the next school day. We can add event cleanup visits to your regular schedule or book them as needed. The daily log records what was cleaned after each event.
How are quality problems handled?
Crews complete a daily log, and supervisors inspect each building. If a principal, instructor or facility manager reports a missed area, we correct it within 48 hours and note the fix in the log. Inspection notes can be shared with your facilities department on request.
